This early 20th-century Tudor home in a Boston suburb had ample family space but lacked an adult retreat. The unused attic became the perfect opportunity to create a dramatic entertainment space, complete with a pool table, bar, and game areas. However, existing structural elements, low headroom, and HVAC systems posed challenges. FBN Construction collaborated with the architect, engineer, and designer to restructure the roof using complex steel and wood supports. The result is a seamless, spacious “adult playroom” that feels original to the home—combining technical expertise with creative vision.
